Downloadable Assets

(we’re talking high value)

FutureLab – Downloadable Lead Magnet

This web design and development client was having trouble with prospective clients who didn’t know how to approach briefing on what was needed (oh man, do I know the feeling). I whipped up a streamlined introduction to the custom web development process they could use as a lead magnet or as part of their outreach.

Liz Barry Career Coaching – Course Guidebook

This is a 52-page companion guidebook to a seven module course I designed and wrote for my client in the career coaching space. The asset needed to absolutely nail the exercises so that learners could get the most out of their course experience, keep them engaged, and of course, it needed to live up to the amazing quality of my client’s knowledge. Tough job, but awesome results.

Independently You – Downloadable Lead Magnet

Here’s a downloadable lead magnet I created for a client in the retail space. Absolutely amazing client providing disability-focused products to those who need them. They needed a lead magnet aimed at disability carers, so I brainstormed, designed, and wrote this to highlight key products while still offering value.

Game Designer – Designing for Accessibility Presentation

In the game-design space, this client was a designer who needed a presentation to summarize a massive topic – accessibility in game design – into an approachable, understandable 15-minutes. We needed this presentation to ask great questions, have interesting talking points, and most of all, persuade, persuade, persuade.

Strategic Projects

Screw it, we’re going from the ground up

My specialty is getting my clients off the starting blocks and into the water. When you have a big idea – something they love – it’s my job to listen, interpret, and create a content strategy that makes you feel like you’ve poured your soul onto the page (in the least gory way possible, I promise).

MNDFL Content Strategy

I loved working on this! MNDFL needed a content strategy that included several pillars based on what their target demographic – millennials in the corporate workspace – would want to see from a mental wellness/HR perspective. This is a sneak peak of the full strategy.

Career Course Design and Execution

This project was an honor to work on. We collaborated on a career change course where my client provided her twenty years of experience and I provided the structure + content to communicate it to her audience.

Algorithmic Bias: Who’s Training the Machines?

“Something as ephemeral as bias can be hard to pinpoint, especially in a realm into which only few dare to venture. However, those who do move in this space have started to raise their voices about the very real impacts biased algorithms have on people.”

It was incredibly stressful, is what I’m trying to say here.”

COVID-19 & New Normals: How SEO Can Help Save Your Business

“Much like a mutation changes the course of human evolution, so too has COVID-19 altered the course of consumer behaviour. The weeks in isolation have been more than enough, and once we all emerge from our cocoons, the habit of online buying might have fully set in.”

YouTube and Hate Speech: Is the Media Platform Taking Responsibility?

“YouTube needs to use their power in ways that aren’t just campaigns giving them visibility – but to actually protect the minorities who use their platform. Public backlash should not be the thing driving media platforms to make positive change – we need the bigger people to look out for the little guys to begin with.”
